INTRUDER ALARMS

The increase in burglaries over the last year has seen a rise in
the number of intruder alarms installed. All our new systems can be
connected to the police via a monitoring station operating 24 hours
a day, alternatively systems can be programmed to send an automated
message to your mobile phone. If you choose us as your provider you may even receive a
reduction on your insurance premium, as we are members of the
National Security Inspectorate (NSI) achieving gold status.
We offer hardwired and wire free solutions dependant on the
environment. This would be discussed at point of survey.

Intruder Alarms can be heard in many areas and often ignored by
passers by. This might be acceptable for low risk premises or where
they are located in busy thoroughfares but if your office or house
are remote a bell ringing on the front of a building is unlikely to
alert anyone.
For high security systems we recommend you consider
Redcare,
Dual-com and/or
Smoke Cloak.
Red Care
Red-Care by BT has been designed to continually monitor your
telephone line every second of the day. If the signal is lost the
Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) are informed and they will take the
appropriate action.
Red-Care does not require a dedicated phone line and will operate
off any BT land line.
This product has been developed to combat the number of intruders
who now cut the phone lines to secured premises thinking their work
will go unnoticed. BT Red-Care never sleeps and will be your silent
partner if the worst happens.
In addition to this successful product, Red-Care has now introduced
a Radio network that continues to send signals after the line is
cut. For high risk premises this is a handy add on and ensures
signals will continue to be sent even in the event of a genuine BT
landline fault.
Dualcom
Dualcom is a dual signalling device
utilising Radio signals and land lines.
Weather alerting the authorities, guard companies or keyholders
Dualcom does it efficiently and is intelligent enough to know which
medium to transmit on.
Dualcoms primary signal path is Radio. Its quick, silent and
monitered 24 hours a day. If the radio signals fail the Dualcom will
utilise the back up phone line.
Both are monitored 24 hours a day. In the event of a failure of
either system the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) are informed and will
then be able to take the appropriate actions.
Dualcom can use your existing BT line but for new premises where
lines may not be installed immediately, this device can still
operate on radio only until the lines are installed.
Smoke Cloak
It is often said that if an intruder wants to
gain unauthorised entry to a premises they will irrespective of how
sophisticated the protection is.
Working on the assumption that you cant take what you cant see we
have installed a number of smoke generating systems that fill a room
with simulated smoke (Fog) in seconds when connected to an intruder
alarm. The fog is harmless to stock or humans and is recognised by
insurers.
The systems are ideal for computer rooms, shops, offices and
schools. The number and size of each unit will depend on the area
you need to protect but in most cases they are easy to establish and
the disruption caused by the installation is minimal, if at all.
The Smoke Cloak can be fitted to most existing intruder alarm
systems so the upgrade path is simple and cost effective
