Fire safety legislation in the UK requires employers and others responsible for buildings to provide effective fire protection systems and equipment for their staff and visitors.
A single named person should be nominated to be the “keeper” of any documentation and records relating to fire protection systems/equipment. This includes keeping a record of your fire tests which should be carried out on a weekly basis and recorded in the fire system log book.
